Barrows is Killing It

Not sure if it's the caipirinhas or simply remarkable beauty (emphasis on women) of Brazil that is shooting out the most talented artists in comics- Ivan Reis, Mike Deodato, Rod Reis and Eddy Barrows.  Eddy has just blown my mind in his ability to balance gritty detail in atmospheric environments and character action throughout Blackest Night Superman.

From speaking with James Robinson last week, he emphasized just how talented Eddy is and how much more he grows in their next project- Blackest Night JSA.

I am awestruck at this cover treatment that fully displays the sickness in his mighty pencil.
