Phil Jackson of the Los Angeles Lakers has long been speculated on just how one man can be so successful in professional sports-- with now an unrivaled record of 11 NBA championship rings. Many have thought it was his spiritual connectedness and ability to infuse Zen principles into his players to play at peak levels.
From last nights press conference after the Lakers defeated the Boston Celtics (yayers!), Ron Artest- the resident beserker of the team- gave insights (click to 8:51) on how Coach Jackson speaks to his players telepathically like that of Professor Xavier of the X-Men.
Now we understand how the Hall of Fame Coach can be so laid back during the intensity of heated games. Go Lakers!!!
