Luvisi is Killing It
9:43 PM
When you walk into shops and cruise the current racks-- the first thing to grab you is the cover art period. In one or two blinks you usually know when a book has done its due in hiring a solid cover assassin that will make us do the deed- by picking up the book.
Enter Dan Luvisi.
This self-taught, digital/concept artist has been dropping jaws of Secret Six readers since ish #10 on and has grown into one my personal faves of cover slayers out there. Luvisi made way to his digital masterpieces through the inspiration of masters like Frazetta, MacQaurie and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
It's often the case that Slade/Deadshot is the focal point of his covers, which makes sense being Luvisi kinda has a soft-spot for bounty-hunters. Peep his original work- Last Man Standing.
