Catman
5 out of 5 shakas
Artistic Integrity: Yep we finally got it folks. The Secret Six's resident tracker/hunter/slasher gets his plastic dues and is done in mad, meticulous fashion via Mattel. Catman is released in Wave 2 of the Batman Legacy line and demands to be unleashed from its otherwise cheesy packaging.
Ain't no thang tho cause this legit fig holds its own against the best out there in how well designed it is to replicate its illustrated likeness. The paint work is some of the most eye-popping that I have seen with its two-toned application fade that gives the costume an almost airbrushed look. Sick!
The nicest touch is easily the 5 hour shadow that reflects his rough & rugged thug-life in the DCU. Love the detail in the utility belt that almost looks like fabricated leather and his cape straps that were treated with the same love.

Fun Factor: It was a coin toss between Nicola Scott and Cliff Chiang art that I peeped for posing and of course to share on this rev. Cool Calm Cliff wins and you can see why. The included razor-claw gauntlets make this already fun fig go way over the top of sculpt-comp and though it could have been better with one of his Lion pals-- yeah maybe a better idea for it not to.
Did I say this is the first ever mold of the DC equivalent of Marvel's Wolverine (yes, same colorway as Logan's second fit)? Thomas Blake keeps it hardcore and looks dope on the shelves next to Suicide Squad's Bronze Tiger.
I was along with thousands of others waiting forever to have Catman to round out the 6 (with Deadshot & Bane) and all I really want now more than anything is Ragdoll (and maybe a Victorian style of Banshee).

Fo-reals brah:
Reliving the illest JG Jones cover from Simone/Eaglesham's Villians United where Blake discovers that its not Deathstroke that murdered the pride of his fam but one of his crew- Floyd Lawton (Deadshot). I nearly chose Luvisi's Blackest Night Suicide Squad to face Catman up against Bronze Tiger, but Deadshot vs. Catman is where its at right?! 5 out of 5 shakas
